Appointments

Dr Mamo, is available for consultations at 30 Docker Street, Wagga Wagga (at the corner of Docker Street and Hardy Avenue), Office hours are:

Monday to Thursday 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Friday : 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M

Teleconference consultations are available if you have COVID or unwell.

At Hip Knee Wagga, we are committed to providing patient-centered care. We take the time to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and work with you to create a plan that meets your unique needs.

For your first consultation please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow enough time to complete a patient registration form or alternatively download and complete the form as listed below and bring to your appointment.

Bring your Medicare card and Private Health fund card, as well as your Pension card if you are a pensioner with you to your appointment.

Payment is required at the time of consultation and the Medicare rebate will be claimed at time of payment.

For Workers' Compensation appointments approval for the initial consultation from the insurance company must be forwarded to the Practice prior to your appointment. Please bring with you claim number information and insurance details.

Urgent Appointments

Urgent appointments are available but only at the request of your referring General Practitioner or Specialist. Dr Mamo is always happy to accommodate and discuss urgent appointments with your treating doctor as required. They will need to contact the rooms and discuss with Dr Mamo by telephone (02) 69 253088.

We understand that patients from out of town often have multiple appointments on the same day and we are more than happy to accommodate your needs and fit in with your schedule if we have available appointments on that same day.

Parking

There is limited parking space provided for patients at the rear of the building with entry via the lane way from Hardy Avenue.

Our rooms are conveniently located a short distance from Calvary Riverina Hospital and Riverina Day Surgery, as well as Imaging and Pathology services. Ramp access at front door.

REGIONAL VISITS

Dr Mamo also visits West Wyalong and Young on a four to six weekly basis with all appointments to be made through the Wagga Practice by telephoning
