Initial Consultation
- For your initial consultation please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow enough time to complete a patient registration form or alternatively you may wish to print the patient details form at the bottom of Appointments page and bring to your appointment.
- Workers' Compensation patients need to organise approval for the initial consultation from the Insurer to be forwarded to Dr Mamo's rooms prior to the appointment . - There is ramp access at the front door.
What to bring to your appointment
- For your initial consultation you must bring your referral letter from your General Practitioner or referring Specialist outlining your medical history and reason for the consultation.
- A list of your medications if not outlined in your referral letter, in particular any blood thinning medications you may be taking
- Medicare card
- Private Health Fund card
- Pension card
- Department of Veterans Affairs card
- Workers' Compensation patients must provide the name of the Insurer, claim number, address and contact details together with details of your employer.
- Payment of your consultation is required at the completion of your appointment. We accept EFTPOS/Mastercard/Visa we do not accept AMEX.
- A percentage of your consultation costs will be claimable from Medicare but not from your health fund. Our reception staff will claim the Medicare rebate on your behalf for your consultation electronically through Medicare Patient Claims.
Urgent Appointments
- Urgent appointments are available but only at the request of your referring General Practitioner or Specialist. Dr Mamo is always happy to accommodate and discuss urgent appointments with your treating doctor as required. They will need to contact the rooms and discuss with Dr Mamo.
- We understand that patients from out of town often have multiple appointments on the same day and we are more than happy to accommodate your needs and fit in with your schedule if appointments are available on that same day.
Regional Visits
Dr Mamo visits outlying regional areas on a four to six weekly basis. Please contact the Wagga Practice to make appointments (02) 69 25 30 88.

Our friendly reception staff can be contacted (02) 69 25 30 88 at any time during business hours if you have any questions or are unsure of something. We have a registered nurse employed on a part time basis and if our reception staff cannot help you with your queries a message can be forwarded on to the nurse who will be able to contact you when she is in our rooms.
